RSMeans data Certification Process
Step 1
Register and attend two pre-requisite seminars (Virtual or In Person)
To become eligible for the certification exam, complete two of our training seminars, one being the baseline Maintenance and Repair Estimating and either Facilities Construction Estimating or Mechanical and Electrical Estimating, whichever course is more applicable to your day-to-day work.
Step 2
Complete the seminars and get ready for the exam
After completing both seminars, our training staff will confirm your eligibility and provide you with credentialled access to the online exam as well as tips to help you prepare.
Step 3
Take the exam
When you're ready, take the exam. You will have three hours to answer 100 questions. You can use any aids in your exam, including your training notes, costs books, online software or any other materials.
Step 4
Get your results
You will receive your results immediately after completing the exam, and you will be able to download your new certificate and digital badge to share your accomplishments.
