Assessing Scope of Work for Facilities Construction Estimating

Objectives
This two-day on-site training is a practical training program that addresses the vital importance of understanding the SCOPE of projects to arrive at accurate cost estimating.

Approach
This training will begin with a review of the process of construction cost estimating in a facilities/repair & remodeling environment, then illustrates that final pricing is only as accurate as the understanding of the real SCOPE of the project. Real-life projects will be reviewed along with checklists for respective divisions.

The “big picture” estimating process, including an overview on quantity take-off & project pricing will be followed by a focus on the front-end process (SCOPING). Focus will be on the topic of Scope of Work and making the definition of the context of Scope of Work and Process of Scope of Work.
