Subcontractor Extending

Subcontractor Extending is a very powerful tool. Upon transferring line items from a CostList to the Means CostWorks Estimator, the user can choose to "Sub" out any individual line item or assembly. This is done by one of two methods.

1. Double click in the Sub column within the Transfer From CostList window and an ¨X¨ will appear. The program will understand that the user wants to have an ¨Ext. Sub¨ column created in the estimate window for the chosen line items.
2. Or, simply use the Sub All / Sub None buttons located at the bottom of the Tranfer From CostList window.
