Transfer Lines from a CostList

Upon choosing which type of estimate you want to create, the estimate window will appear formatted with the appropriate column headings. Now click on the CostList Import Icon. The Transfer From CostList window will appear. You will see a ¨Select CostList¨ pull-down menu. The choices on this menu correlate to which tabs are open within the current project. Select the tab from which the CostList comes and those line items will appear. Next, highlight the lines from the CostList needed to create the estimate, or use the speed buttons. For example, the Select All button will highlight all of the available lines from the CostList. You can also multi-select line items by holding the CTRL key and selecting non-consecutive lines.

The Sub All / Sub None buttons are described in Level 2 functions. Now click OK. You will now see the lines transfer to the estimate window.
